Community Rehabilitation Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Rehabilitation Support Worker to join our team at Powys County Council. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in people's lives.
About the Role:
As a Community Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be employed in the rehabilitation of adults with mental health problems within the community. You will advise and support persons with mental health difficulties and assist them to develop personal, occupational, and life skills.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals to remain in their community
- Help service users develop skills and abilities to maintain independence
- Assist individuals to access local activities including social and leisure pursuits
Requirements:
- Able to listen and communicate effectively with service users, their families, and workers involved at all levels
- Empathy and patience when working with individuals with challenging behaviour
- Ability to think creatively and help service users find innovative solutions
Salary: £26,500 - £32,000 per annum
