This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Powys Teaching Health Board. We are seeking an experienced professional with advanced clinical practice skills to work in our North Powys Clinical Musculoskeletal Assessment and Treatment Service (CMATs) and First Contact Practitioner (FCP) Physiotherapy team.

About the Role

  • We are looking for a qualified Physiotherapist with postgraduate experience, particularly in musculoskeletal services.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience of managing complex caseloads, working within specialist areas, and contributing to service development and transformation.
  • You will be able to demonstrate leadership skills, including training, education, supervision, and appraisal for staff and students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will work closely with colleagues from various healthcare backgrounds.
  • You will be responsible for providing high-quality musculoskeletal assessment and rehabilitation services to patients in North Powys.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A BSc (Hons) or Diploma in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration are essential.
  • Postgraduate qualifications, such as an MSc, can be beneficial but are not mandatory.
  • You must possess highly developed visual acuity, perceptual, and physical skills.
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to further training and development opportunities within the organization.
