About the Job:

We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Support Worker to join our team at Powys County Council. As a Community Rehabilitation Specialist, you will work closely with service users, their families, and healthcare professionals to provide tailored support and guidance.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals to remain in their community
  • Develop skills and abilities to maintain independence
  • Access local activities including social and leisure pursuits

Requirements:

  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively with service users and their families
  • Empathy and patience when working with individuals with challenging behaviour
  • Ability to think creatively and help service users find innovative solutions

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 per annum
