Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Care and Support Professional to join our team. As a Community Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting individuals with mental health difficulties to develop personal, occupational, and life skills.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with service users, their families, and healthcare professionals to provide tailored support and guidance. You will receive comprehensive training to carry out these tasks and work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals to remain in their community
  • Develop skills and abilities to maintain independence
  • Access local activities including social and leisure pursuits

Requirements:

  • Able to listen and communicate effectively with service users and their families
  • Empathy and patience when working with individuals with challenging behaviour
  • Ability to think creatively and help service users find innovative solutions

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
