Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Care Home Practitioner to join our team at The Oaks Care Home. As a member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, including personal care, hygiene, meals, and daily activities.
  • Undertake all required training and development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Support residents with their hobbies and personal interests, promoting a fulfilling lifestyle.
  • Ensure high standards of care and cleanliness within the home.
  • Take on senior-level responsibilities, such as staff supervisions, appraisals, record management, and liaising with external professionals.

Requirements:

  • Supervisory or leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting.
  • Positive attitude and a warm, approachable personality.
  • Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Proficiency in record-keeping and use of relevant technologies.
  • Ability to remain calm and guide colleagues effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns that meet the needs of our residents.
