Educational Support for SEND Pupils

A dedicated Educational Support Specialist for SEND is required to work at a reputable special school in Sheffield, supporting the teaching and learning of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across various age groups.

Responsibilities:
  • Individualized Support: Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), providing tailored support to pupils with SEND.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Requirements:
  • Experience and Skills: Experience working with children with special educational needs in a similar or transferable role, confident and proactive approach to supporting pupils with SEND, possession of a current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Passion for SEND: A passion for supporting pupils with SEND and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
