Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Education and SEND Specialist to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As an Educational Health Care Plan Writer/Co-ordinator, you will be working with children and young people aged 0-19 in South Yorkshire, playing a vital role in shaping their educational experiences.

Salary Details
£30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and be able to demonstrate their experience in carrying out needs-led integrated assessments for children and young people. You will work collaboratively with service users and other professionals to develop EHC Plans that meet the individual needs of each child.

Your Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* QTS or equivalent
* Proven experience in planning and facilitating person-centred multi-agency meetings
* Ability to construct and develop EHC Plans from approved assessments
* Good understanding of the issues facing families with children and young people who have SEND
* Knowledge of Person-Centred planning and processes
* Enhanced Child Barred List DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
* Two professional child-related references
