About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in our schools.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to ensure a safe and productive learning environment for our students.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting and supporting the development and learning of students within the school
  • Working with other teaching and support staff to maintain a safe and productive work environment
  • Ensuring school policies are upheld, including behavior policies
  • Managing behavior, with Team Teach training offered
  • In certain schools, aspects of personal care and moving and handling may be required

What We Need From You:

We are looking for someone with a patient and understanding approach, an interest and passion in supporting SEND students, and a flexible and open nature.

While existing experience working with children or adults with SEND is preferred, it is not essential. Team Teach or Moving and Handling training is also preferred but not required.
