About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic graduate to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in our schools. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support students with their learning and development
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to maintain a positive and inclusive school culture
  • Support the implementation of school policies, including behavior management
  • Manage behavior and provide positive reinforcement
  • In some cases, aspects of personal care and moving and handling may be required

What We Need From You:

  • A patient and understanding approach
  • An interest and passion in supporting students with SEND
  • A flexible and open-minded attitude
  • Existing experience working with children or adults with SEND is preferred but not essential
