Job Title: SEND Support Specialist

Location: Based in the UK

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (pro-rata)

About the Role

The RNN Group is seeking a skilled SEND Support Specialist to join their Additional Learning Support Team. As a SEND Support Specialist, you will work collaboratively with learners, their families, schools, colleagues, and external agencies to identify and design support plans for learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

You will have previous experience in supporting students with emotional and behavioural difficulties and of working with young people and vulnerable adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. You will also have experience and understanding of making safeguarding referrals and the importance of Additional Learning Support within an educational or training context.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Specialist qualification in a relevant SEND area
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
