Role Description

This SEND Assessment and Support Coordinator position requires a highly skilled individual to work within our Additional Learning Support Team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in supporting students with emotional and behavioural difficulties and working with young people and vulnerable adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with learners, their families, schools, colleagues, and external agencies to identify and design support plans.
  • SUPPORT learners with additional needs to access learning, college facilities, and fully participate in general College activities.
Requirements

A Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths is required, as well as a specialist qualification in a relevant SEND area. A proven track record of supporting students with emotional and behavioural difficulties and working with young people and vulnerable adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities is essential.
