About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Payroll and General Office Administrator to join our dynamic team at the UHY Hacker Young Group's Chester office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with clients and contribute to the success of our firm.

The ideal candidate will have previous payroll experience, preferably in an accounting practice, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Process payrolls for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Coordinate with clients to obtain necessary information, process data, and deliver final payrolls and pay slips.
  3. Respond to client queries and resolve any issues that may arise during the payroll process.
  4. Provide administrative support to the Office Manager, including phone calls and other tasks as needed.
Requirements and Benefits
  • Previous payroll experience, preferably in an accounting practice.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience (£25,000 - £30,000) (Note: Salary estimate based on UK national average).
