Job Overview

The Community Respiratory Nurse Led Service is a highly skilled team that provides expert care to patients with chronic respiratory disease. We are a supportive and dynamic team with a strong focus on staff retention and morale.

We are seeking a Band Respiratory Team Lead to join our team. This is a full-time post, but we are open to considering part-time hours for the right candidate. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly across the countywide respiratory service.

Please note that the candidate must be NMC/HCPC registered.

Main Duties of the Job

The post entails providing expert supportive care for respiratory patients, including preventing avoidable hospital attendances, providing facilitated support following hospital admission, and promoting focused self-management. This will include reviewing patients with home oxygen therapy.

The successful candidate must be capable of working autonomously while supporting the local Cambridge respiratory team. They will work with the support of CPFT respiratory colleagues to provide a seamless service of care. The post holder will work in collaboration with other services across CPFT and other stakeholders to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of patients with chronic respiratory disease.

They will also act as a community respiratory care resource for patients and other health professionals.
