Job Summary

HM Revenue and Customs is seeking a skilled Administrative Officer to join its Financial Operations team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process commercial invoices and initiate payments to suppliers.
  • Resolve written and telephone enquiries from internal and external customers.
  • Work with suppliers and individuals to recover overpaid monies.
  • Deliver information to colleagues across the business.
  • Complete information to support team statistics.
  • Run reports to inform business decisions.
  • Share information, ideas, and concerns to support team learning and continuous improvement.
  • Work to key targets and timelines to support prompt payment to suppliers.
  • Contribute to improving productivity, quality, and customer service.
  • Gather information and apply judgment to achieve the best outcome for the business.
