Regional Facilities Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Facilities Manager to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the management of services and processes that support our property management strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day handling of the maintenance and upkeep of our existing portfolio of properties, both commercial and residential.
  • Work efficiently and in a cost-effective manner to ensure an excellent standard of operational functionality, appearance, and legal compliance.
  • Manage relationships with regional contractors/internal maintenance team for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks.
  • Monitor and ensure regional compliance with statutory safety regulations.
  • Carry out regular, thorough property inspections to monitor the condition and upkeep of our existing portfolio.
  • Control regional maintenance costs and budget planning relating to your allocated portfolio of properties.
  • Manage a small team in terms of holiday, sickness, performance, and payroll as well as overseeing of wider departments in coordination with the management team.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Previous project management or property management experience.
  • A professional and refined negotiator with sound commercial acumen and judgment.
  • An excellent communicator who can communicate confidently with people at all levels of the business.
  • PC literate with strong Microsoft Office skills.
