HSQE Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled HSQE Advisor to join our team at Arcus FM. As a key member of our HSQE department, you will provide expert guidance and support to our colleagues across various operational divisions and corporate functions.
Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to a positive HSQE culture, ensuring compliance with HSQE requirements and delivering the Arcus FM HSQE Strategy. You will work closely with our HSQE Lead Business Partner to provide support to business divisions within your remit, including Project Division, Support Services, Distribution Centres, Pest Team, Office statutory compliance, and office safety.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current HSQE regulations for England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. You will be responsible for providing HSQE guidance and support for HSQE matters across the business, undertaking risk assessments and COSHH assessments, leading and supporting accident investigations, and conducting audits and site inspections.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels. You will be self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide HSQE guidance and support for HSQE matters across the business.
- Undertake risk assessments and COSHH assessments.
- Lead and support accident investigations.
- Conduct audits and site inspections.
- Develop strong relationships throughout the business.
- Provide on-site support to operational teams.
- Write or feed into HSQE business reports.
- Create and review Toolbox Talks and HSQE training.
- Support contractor management throughout the business.
Requirements:
- IOSH Member (desirable).
- NEBOSH Cert or equivalent (minimum).
- Environmental qualification or experience desirable.
- Fire Safety qualification desirable.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience of working in a multi-client environment.
- Facilities Maintenance experience desirable.
- Depot/distribution centre experience and/or knowledge desirable.
- Projects and CDM and/or knowledge desirable.
- A good understanding of current HSQE Regulation for England, Wales, Scotland and N Ireland.
- Excellent administration skills and use of Microsoft office, excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience of 45001, 14001 and 9001 are desirable.
- Auditing experience desirable

When you join us, you will receive:
- Salary: £35,000-£45,000 depending on experience
- Car allowance: £3,596 (Full UK license and own car is essential)
