Education Specialist for Neurodiverse Children

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Education Specialist to support high-risk and complex neurodiverse pupils in the community or in their homes. As an Education Specialist, you will work closely with pupils, providing them with a differentiated and holistic education, supported by educationalists, therapists, social workers, and experts in nurturing and therapeutic education.

The Remedy Recruitment Group is a leading provider of specialist education, supporting exceptional neurodiverse children and young people aged 7 to 19 who have special educational needs and disabilities typically associated with autism, social emotional and mental health needs, and associated disorders. Our pupils have often been excluded from other provisions up to three times before reaching us and had significant periods out of education.

Key Requirements:
  1. A minimum of one year's experience working directly with high-risk and complex pupils in a recognized setting such as social work, youth work, or education.
  2. Substantial experience of supporting neurodiverse children with ASC and/or SEMH, and an understanding of potential implications for communication, learning, and behavior patterns.
  3. A positive role model, with emotional intelligence and resilience.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • A competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
