We are a pioneering social enterprise dedicated to delivering exceptional therapeutic education to neurodiverse children and young people aged 7-19 in London. Our independent school supports pupils with special educational needs and disabilities associated with autism, social emotional and mental health needs, and related disorders.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Children and Young People Practitioner. As a passionate learning mentor, you will work directly with high-risk and complex neurodiverse pupils in various settings, providing a differentiated and holistic education supported by experts in nurturing and therapeutic education.
You will be responsible for creating personalized education plans that cater to each pupil's unique needs, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. Your experience and expertise will enable you to make a real difference in the lives of these exceptional young individuals.
Requirements:- A minimum of one year's experience working directly with high-risk and complex pupils in recognized settings such as social work, youth work, or education.
- Substantial experience supporting neurodiverse children with ASC and/or SEMH, understanding potential implications for communication, learning, and behavior patterns.
- Positive role model with emotional intelligence and resilience.
- A competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, reflecting your value to our organization.
