Job Title: Community Support Specialist

Slough Children First is seeking a dedicated and passionate part-time community support specialist to join our team on a job share basis (2 or 2.5 days per week).

You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people, promoting and safeguarding their wellbeing and interests at all times.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing, planning, and implementing suitable interventions for complex cases.
  • Producing concise assessments, plans, and reports.
  • Developing effective relationships with children, young people, and families/carers.
  • Participating in partnership work with colleagues and other agencies to deliver accessible services.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered social worker with a professional qualification or equivalent, and have demonstrable experience of working within a busy service.

Estimated Salary: £19,025 - £21,561 per annum (based on 20 hours per week)
