We are seeking a highly skilled Maths educator to join our team at Teaching Personnel, working with students with Autism and other SEN in Oxford.

Job Description

This role involves leading engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to individual learning needs. You will use a range of teaching strategies to cater to students with diverse abilities and SEN profiles.

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons for students with Autism and other SEN.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement effective Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting approaches to meet each learner's needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience working with children and young people with SEN.
  • A strong understanding of SEN, including Autism and moderate learning difficulties.
  • Passion for Maths and the ability to make the subject accessible and engaging for all learners.
