Teaching Personnel: SEN Maths Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Maths Teacher to join our team of dedicated education professionals in Oxfordshire.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality Maths lessons to students with diverse learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.

Job Description
  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons that cater to individual learning needs.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and report on student progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Foster a safe, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience working with children and young people with SEN.
  • Strong understanding of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.
  • Ability to make Maths accessible and engaging for all learners.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach to teaching.

  • A competitive salary, aligned with experience and qualifications. The estimated annual salary is £32,000 - £58,000, dependent on MPS/UPS + SEN1 scale.
