About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Essex County Council's specialist mental health support team as a senior social worker. You will play a key part in providing high-quality social care services and exemplar social work practice within the Recovery Wellbeing Community Mental Health Team.

You will contribute to change management, ensuring the department is configured for continuous improvement, adhering to the Key Performance Indicators provided by Essex County Council under the Section 75 partnership agreement.

The role requires a qualified social worker with a current Social Work England registration, bringing experience of mental health and multi-disciplinary team working along with sound knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and Care Act.

As part of employment with Essex County Council, you will be required to register with the DBS update service.
