About the Job:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Essex. The successful candidate will have a strong background in social care, with experience of working with vulnerable adults and delivering high-quality support services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of our mental health team, providing specialist support to individuals and families in need. You will play a key part in delivering excellent social care services, ensuring that excellence of service is provided across the department.

The team ethic is one where all colleagues are respected and supported regardless of experience. The team consists of multiple disciplines, including existing social workers, nursing, psychology, OT, and psychiatry, along with other associated professionals.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should be a qualified social worker with a current registration with Social Work England. You'll bring social work experience, evidence of continuing professional development, and capability of practice in accordance with current professional standards.

You will also bring experience of mental health and MDT working along with sound knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and Care Act.

This role involves travelling around the Rochford, Rayleigh, and Castle Point area. A driving licence and car - or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means - is essential.
