About the Job:

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Technical Operations Manager to join our team in Ashford, Kent. As a key member of our global service centre team, you will be responsible for leading a team of service technicians, managing service contracts, and developing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage a team of 20-25 service technicians worldwide.
  2. Maintain strong client relationships through effective service contract management.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  4. Provide technical support to resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
  5. Handle warranty cases, complaints, and NCRs professionally.
  6. Communicate effectively with customers via the service email inbox.
Essential Requirements:
  1. Experience in service operations management, ideally in renewable energy.
  2. Advanced technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems.
  3. Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  4. A proactive, problem-solving approach and attention to detail.
  5. A valid driver's license and passport (occasional travel required).
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range from £38,000 - £50,000 but DOE.
  • 40-hour work week (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
  • Company pension scheme (NEST) & full expenses paid for business travel.
