About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Sales and Business Development professional to join our team at edyn. As a key member of our commercial leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share expansion in the transient and specialist agency segment.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Negotiate and optimize key agency and GDS partnerships to drive revenue growth and improve visibility and reach.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a strategy to grow market share of GDS bookings.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the sector and customer needs to inform sales strategy and drive business growth.
  • Work closely with the IT and Distribution teams to improve and enhance the customer booking journey and hotel service proposition.

Requirements

  • Significant B2B sales experience with a strong track record of delivering sales growth in the hospitality industry.
  • Experience of leading and managing teams and driving sales performance in a fast-moving, challenging, and multi-channel environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully developing and implementing a B2B sales strategy across an organization.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to operate in a matrix organization and deliver through others.
  • Detail-focused and analytical, with strong organizational and prioritization skills, commercially aware, and numerate.
