Advertising Revenue Growth Manager

We're looking for a skilled Email Newsletter Business Development Manager to join our team and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and email newsletter operations. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a tailored digital ad sales strategy that enhances revenue streams and elevates the profile of Interesting Engineering in the marketplace.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital ad sales strategy for our email newsletter operations.
- Secure new partnerships while optimizing revenue streams from our established clientele.
- Elevate the profile of Interesting Engineering in the industry, emphasizing our premier email newsletter offerings and other products.
- Advocate for the benefits and potential of email newsletters, highlighting Interesting Engineering's unique, content-rich approach.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of advertising content, striving for both client satisfaction and optimal readership engagement.
- Regularly analyze and stay updated with industry trends, ensuring that Interesting Engineering remains at the forefront of digital advertising opportunities.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in digital ad sales, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in selling email newsletter products, either as a standalone item or within a broader sales portfolio.
- An extensive network of contacts from leading marketers and agencies, especially in the engineering industry.
- Ability to manage both short-term and long-term revenue goals.
- Skills to compellingly present pitches, negotiate deals, and solidify partnerships.
Compensation and Benefits:
- This is a full-time position based in the United States, with estimated salary $130,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience.
