We are recruiting for a Production Planner to join our production team at IMI Thompson Valves. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling the shop floor and ensuring the correct materials are in place at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:- Working as part of a team to plan, schedule, and forecast production activities.
- Controlling and maintaining the master schedule.
- Processing tasks using planning tools such as MRP, ERP or Preactor.
- Creating production work orders and material requisitions.
- Monitoring progress of items associated with designated order lines.
- Updating data boards to reflect sales monitoring and work orders.
- Extensive experience in production planning and master scheduling within an engineering manufacturing environment.
- Numerate and IT literate with a good working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages.
- Demonstrable track record in a production and planning team with strong experience and knowledge of MRP/ERP tools and systems.
- Methodical and organized with a high level of attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and target-focused.
