Job Description

This role will oversee the delivery of an outstanding crisis prevention helpline in Birmingham, West Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and managing effective teams, as well as experience of developing partnerships with stakeholders.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and effective line management to a team of crisis prevention advisers. They will also ensure a consistent and high-quality service is delivered through quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of advisors to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Risk assess and provide advice and guidance on safeguarding matters
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work on a rota basis, covering shifts starting at 10:25pm and finishing at 07:40am

Requirements:

  • A degree in Health, Nursing, Social Work, Community Work or related discipline
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a night shift environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits:

  • An estimated salary of £34,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience
