Job Summary: Belmont Recruitment is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team on a temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the Document Imaging system to scan and index documents.
  • Manage letters and correspondence received within the Client Finance Team, both in writing and electronically.
  • Respond to queries raised by service users of Social Care via phone.
  • Liaise with Adult Social Care, Transactional Services, and Corporate Debt on individual cases.
  • Liaise with other teams in the Council as necessary.
  • Provide efficient and effective clerical support to the Financial Assessment Team to enable Financial Assessments to be assessed and calculated in a timely manner and service users notified of outcomes, in writing.
  • Process routine changes of circumstances in specific types of claims.
  • Provide clerical support across the whole of Client Finance as required.
  • Input data into computer systems.

Requirements:

  • Excellent telephone/customer service skills with the ability to empathize with service users.
  • Excellent administration/data support skills.
  • Experience of working in a Social Care Team or at a Local Authority.
