Elevation Recruitment Group is a leading recruitment agency specializing in placing top talent in various industries. We are excited to be working with a leading PE-owned business that is looking to appoint a qualified Management Accountant to cover a period of permanent recruitment.

About the Role:

The key focus of this role will be to maintain and consolidate monthly management accounts for over 10 different entities as well as year-end preparation and ad-hoc support to the rest of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and prepare monthly management accounts for over 10 entities, including both UK and EU branches. This includes group consolidation and ensuring accuracy in multicurrency transactions.
  • Manage and approve expenses and ensure proper revenue recognition.
  • Handle the consolidation of financials across multiple entities, working with various currencies (e.g., Euro to GBP) and managing FX transactions.
  • Liaise with sales and project teams across Europe to ensure costs and payroll are accurately captured and reported.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting function.
  • Assist in the preparation for the year-end, ensuring all project costs are accurately reflected in both UK and EU financial statements.

Requirements:

  • Ideally a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), though strong QBE candidates may also be considered.
  • Proven experience in managing multi-entity, multicurrency financial operations
  • Strong knowledge of consolidation, FX transactions, and cost management. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
