About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Dementia Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of skill and expertise.
As a Dementia Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting residents with dementia to live their best lives, providing individualised care and support to meet their unique needs.
The Role:
- Support residents with dementia to maintain their independence and dignity
- Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing and dressing
- Deliver individualised care and support to meet the unique needs of each resident
- Work closely with the care team to develop and implement care plans
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and support to people with dementia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A commitment to providing person-centred care
Rewards Package
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £24,000 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including:

Working Hours
This is a bank position, which means that you will be required to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. We offer a flexible approach to shift patterns, allowing you to choose when you work and how many hours you want to commit to.
