Care Assistant Leader

The successful candidate will be responsible for the personal care needs of residents. This includes providing health supervision and attention through direct observations of care staff delivering personal care to meet individual needs and promote good practice.
Main Responsibilities:
• Provide health supervision and attention to residents.
• Care for residents who are temporarily sick or needing minor dressings, bed nursing etc. under the guidance of community health teams.
• Promote mental and physical activity of residents through talking activities and outings, sharing with them in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and recreation.
• Oversee and monitor the 'digital care planning platform', eMar and other recording systems to ensure these follow the correct reporting procedures and meet current legislation.
• Organise the care team, run the shift and manage any needs of staff and residents.
Requirements:
A minimum Diploma or NVQ Level 3 and experience of leading a team. Awareness of CQC requirements under the Single Assessment Framework.
