We are seeking a compassionate and creative Activities Coordinator to enhance the quality of life for residents in dementia care environments.

Job Description
  • Plan and implement engaging activities such as arts and crafts, games, exercise classes, and outings.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to promote upcoming events and encourage participation.
  • Organize special events and celebrations to foster community spirit within the care home.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and facilitating engaging activities. Knowledge of dementia care practices is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver activity programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity attendance and resident feedback.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Recreation Therapy or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in activities coordination or similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
