Senior Activity Support Worker

Avery Healthcare is seeking a Senior Activity Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering activities that promote the physical, cognitive, and social well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.
- Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
- Support with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
- Establish links with the local community to encourage access to the wider community and promote intergenerational activity.
Requirements
We are seeking an individual who embodies our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. The ideal candidate will possess effective communication skills, a positive attitude towards older people, and a commitment to providing stimulating activities. Previous experience working with older people in a residential setting is essential.
