As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and structured environment for children to develop life skills, participate in leisure activities, and achieve their full potential.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver high standards of care, protection, and support to children and young people, in line with individual care plans.
- Organise and plan activities that promote physical, psychological, emotional, and recreational development.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and children, verbally and in writing.
- Motivate, aid, and guide children in their self-development.
- Set appropriate examples for children at all times.
- Listen and respond responsibly with sensitivity.
- Manage behaviour and guide staff in managing challenging situations.
- Understand and implement Quality Standards.

Essential Requirements:
- Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care with Children and Young People.
- Ability to work early, late, and night shifts, including sleepovers on a rota basis.
- Age 21 or over.
Desirable Requirements:
- Two years experience working in a Children's Home.
- Full UK driving license.
