Care Assistant Role OverviewAs a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care to our residents. You will contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services and provide support to ensure the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- You will assist residents with their personal hygiene care, ensuring they maintain independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
- Recognise and understand clinical risk areas, such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and infections. Escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
- Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
- Practice safe systems of work across various tasks.
To be successful in your application, you must live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. While experience is not required, we offer a thorough induction and training programme to ensure your confidence in your role.
We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively verbally and in writing, demonstrate initiative, and be respectful towards residents and others in the home. You should also be an efficient worker who can follow instructions from other team members and be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Requirements- A DBS Disclosure check, which we will meet the cost of.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
