About the Position

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Care and Support Worker to join our team at Strode Park House, a residential care setting for adults with physical disabilities and complex needs.

As a Care and Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage and support residents in reaching their full potential
  • Deliver a high standard of essential and routine care to all residents
  • Assist with the welcoming of new residents and their families to the home
  • Assist with the service of meals and feeding
  • Support and participate in all areas of the running of the home, keeping it clean and tidy and adhering to Health and Safety requirements

Requirements:

  • Hold Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent
  • Be able to communicate clearly and adapt to individual requirements

  • Have the motivation to use own initiative and develop activities and events for service users
