Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Job Description

The Culinary Operations Director will be responsible for coordinating, supervising and directing all aspects of the hotel's food production, while maintaining profitable Food and Beverage operations and high-quality products and service levels.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the food product presented to guests is enhanced and make changes that respond to the marketplace and guest needs.
  2. Maintain the quality of food product and ensure consistency in food delivery and standards.
  3. Provide support of a specialist nature to the Executive Committee, particularly to the Director of Restaurants and Bars.
  4. Select, train and develop personnel within the department.
  5. Control the elements that determine profit and loss.
  6. Give direction and leadership and be responsible for the implementation of plans.
  7. Monitor effectiveness and introduce changes in response to the marketplace.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  1. 2+ year's experience in the local culinary scene and a full understanding of the latest food trends and competitors.
  2. A proven track record managing large kitchen teams across multiple outlets and kitchens.
  3. A true passion for creativity and maintaining the integrity of our brand standards through the dishes on the menu.
  4. Managerial skills to achieve budgeted KPIs in labour and COS%.
  5. Natural leadership skills to lead and manage others.
