Digital Transformation Lead Engineer

We're seeking a talented Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our DWP Digital teams in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, or Sheffield. As a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be responsible for defining medium to long-term strategies for product lines, guiding your team, and ensuring they build products and services using industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
You'll lead a team of senior infrastructure engineers, providing guidance and support for cloud engineers in your area. You'll define guidelines for the engineering community, leading their adoption across teams to deliver quality infrastructure solutions. With substantial experience of Azure, networking, scripting languages, and version control systems, you'll have solid experience of the full application development lifecycle, including supporting live service.
