Strategic Operations Manager

Job Summary:

Thrive Homes is seeking an experienced Strategic Operations Manager to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality building and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will need to be proactive and possess a strong understanding of all aspects of planning and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and produce Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and data for Thrive Homes managers to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee fleet servicing and repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate internal and external reactive and planned works to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and drive efficiency.
  • Provide expert advice to internal and external customers on housing-related matters, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Escalate ongoing issues related to Health and Safety, compliance, and other critical matters to relevant business functions.
  • Develop and enhance operating systems to optimize performance and efficiency for the Planning Team.
  • Undertake additional duties and projects as required by line managers or senior management.
  • Provide out-of-hours supervisor support on a rotational basis to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in a similar working environment and role, preferably in housing, property services, or a related field.
  • Substantial line management experience to lead and motivate a team of Planners and Administrators.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Methodical approach to work to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
