Palliative Care Registrar

The role of Registrar is a fixed-term, part-time or full-time contract based at Greenwich Hospital. The successful candidate will provide palliative care reviews to inpatients, outpatients, and home visits, working within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare. The Registrar will be responsible for ensuring that medical clinical care is provided to inpatients and outpatients of the Palliative Care service, under the supervision of the Specialist-in-charge.
The Essence of this Role
- Provide in-patient care to people admitted to the Palliative care unit
- Liaise with other members of the multi-disciplinary team in providing patient care
- Maintain an appropriate standard of personal professionalism at all times and in all activities undertaken
- Implement a personal learning program for the term in conjunction with their Specialist Supervisor
- Participate in after-hours care of palliative care inpatients
