Job Overview
The Alliance Sales Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping and qualifying opportunities for handoff to the Enterprise Business Development team. This includes responding to inbound leads generated via Partner events, Inside Sales, and campaigns, further qualifying and evaluating them for handoff. Key objectives include net new logo lead generation through Salesforce partner sources, Salesforce network, and own outreach efforts, as well as developing accurate, high-quality leads for Merkle’s Salesforce pre-sales team.
Responsibilities
- Primary objective: Net New Logo lead generation through Salesforce partner source, Salesforce network, own outreach and supporting Merkle related marketing efforts
- Develop accurate, high-quality leads into Merkle's Salesforce pre-sales team aligned to our sales process
- Ensure sales tools and documentation are up-to-date on live opportunities to enable accurate pipeline tracking
- Develop close working relationships with senior vertical portfolio sales leads and marketing to develop outreach campaigns to target clients/industry verticals aligned to Merkle Salesforce sales motions
- Develop an understanding of assigned Salesforce industry vertical, associated Merkle GTMs, and case studies to become a trusted partner to the Salesforce Account Executive team and trusted advisor to prospective clients
- Manage relationships with Salesforce alliance partner account executives to guide Merkle propositions, campaigns, and sales opportunities
- Originate new client and cross/up-sell opportunities for proactive proposals and find new Salesforce service briefs, RFI, and RFP opportunities for Merkle
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess experience meeting sales quota goals, knowledge of the Salesforce and ad-tech marketplace, and experience architecting complex solutions for large corporations. Additionally, they should propose solid solutions to meet customer requirements and have deep technical experience in the integration of multiple solutions.
