Become an integral part of our Mid-Corporate Banking team in Belfast as a Business Development Manager (Credit Analyst). In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for supporting our bankers in identifying and converting new business opportunities across Northern Ireland.

About the Job

You will work closely with our bankers to develop new leads, assist in deal structuring, craft credit applications, and manage the onboarding process for new customers. Your primary goal will be to establish yourself as a trusted authority on local market trends through established networks and a deep understanding of regional businesses' needs and requirements.

To excel in this position, you'll need to possess a deep understanding of lending and credit risk analysis, as well as the ability to stay ahead of economic influences on clients' needs. You'll also be expected to provide exceptional customer service, leveraging products and propositions to meet client objectives, while complying with mandatory Risk policies and procedures.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Manage client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance
  • Research industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment
  • Design customised solutions addressing clients' specific needs and objectives
  • Negotiate terms beneficial for both clients and the bank
  • Assess financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships
