Job Overview:
Hiscox is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Company Secretary and Administrative Support Professional to provide administrative support to the UK-based company secretaries. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of board and committee meetings, maintaining statutory books and records, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Company Secretary.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have some experience of corporate governance and work experience in an admin support role gained in a legal or company secretarial environment. They will also possess strong IT skills, including proficiency in Blueprint/Diligent, Microsoft Office, and Board Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of board and committee meetings, including gathering documents and loading on Board Intelligence.
  • Maintain statutory books and records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Company Secretary, providing timely and effective responses.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as tracking correspondence and ensuring that all matters are being attended to.
  • Organize and maintain files and documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
