Job Description

This part-time position as a Forensic Learning Disability Consultant will be based at Hollins Park House in Warrington. The role includes Approved Clinician/Responsible Clinician provision where a person is subject to Conditional Discharge or a Community Treatment Order under the Mental Health Act. As a Responsible Clinician, you will be required to have a prescriber function for the team, besides offering specialist assessment (including risk assessments) and management of patients on your caseload.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of highly skilled specialist nurses, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, support workers, social workers, and psychologists. The team offers a full MDT component, and you will be supported by a designated medical secretary.

Salary and Benefits

This part-time position comes with a competitive salary of £105,504-£139,882 per annum, pro rata, plus 10% R&R (non-contractual). You will also be eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of gaining CCT. CCT in Psychiatry is essential for this role.

We offer a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, excellent clinical skills using a bio-psycho-social perspective, and wide medical knowledge.
