Forensic Learning Disability Consultant Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional Forensic Learning Disability Consultant Specialist to join our team at the North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities and forensic needs. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver preventative, reactive, and evidence-based interventions. Your expertise will enable service users to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Fulfilling Community Responsible Clinician responsibilities for patients accepted into the service
- Providing outpatient or community clinics and home visits
- Participating in regular MDT meetings, CPA reviews, MAPPA, safeguarding, risk reviews, and clinical leadership
- Liaising with forensic support services, attending professional meetings, and delivering clinical care to forensic learning disability and autistic spectrum disorder patients

Your Requirements:
- CCT in Psychiatry and eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of gaining CCT
- Experience of assessing and treating individuals with learning disabilities and autism
- Treating individuals with forensic needs and knowledge of alternatives to inpatient admission care approaches
- Excellent clinical skills using a bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Salary and Benefits:
This part-time post offers a competitive salary of £104,796 - £138,175 per annum, pro rata, plus a generous benefits package including a pension scheme and access to training and development opportunities. The estimated salary range for this position is between £54,000 and £73,000 depending on experience.
