About the Role:

Service Overview:
The Specialist Community Forensic Team (SCFT) provides a newly commissioned service based at Hollins Park House in Warrington. This service caters to patients with a learning disability and/or autism who require forensic support.
Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the needs of service users are met through the delivery of high-quality care. This involves providing a comprehensive psychiatric service to people with Learning Disability and Forensic needs in Cheshire and Merseyside.
Key Accountabilities:
The consultant psychiatrist will be responsible for:
- Providing outpatient or community clinics and home visits
- Participating in regular MDT meetings, CPA reviews, MAPPA, safeguarding, risk reviews, and providing clinical leadership
- Conducting emergency home visits and liaising with forensic support services
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge and experience of assessing and treating individuals with learning disability and/or autism
- Ability to work constructively and to lead a multidisciplinary team
- Participated in continuous professional development
- Holds and will use a valid UK driving licence OR provides evidence of proposed alternative
