Forensic Learning Disability Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Learning Disability Consultant to join our Specialist Community Forensic Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities and forensic needs in Cheshire and Merseyside.
The role will involve working collaboratively with in-patient services to reduce length of stay, supporting step down and recovery in the community, and applying a proactive risk management approach to enable service users to fulfill their individual potential and achieve their goals.
The ideal candidate will have a CCT in Psychiatry, experience of assessing and treating individuals with learning disability and or autism, and excellent clinical skills using a bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
