Clinical Specialist Practitioner

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Specialist Practitioner to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to patients with complex needs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assess and develop specialist programmes of care for individuals or groups of patients/clients.
- To provide highly specialist advice on wheelchair services and seating interventions.
- To supervise and mentor students and trained practitioners, providing clinical support and guidance.
Requirements:
- A registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist practitioner to degree/diploma level supplemented by post-registration diploma-level specialist training.
- Experience at Practitioner Band 5 level and recent previous experience within a comparable role.
- Demonstrable knowledge of assessment and therapeutic interventions in specialist seating/wheelchairs.
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
