About the Position:
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate individual to join our team as an Eye Clinic Support Volunteer. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, hospital staff, and Vision Norfolk team to provide emotional support and information about our services.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in hospital eye clinics
- Provide emotional support and information about Vision Norfolk's services
- Promote services that can be useful to patients
- Refer patients to the Eye Clinic Liaison Officer if needed
What We Look For:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Empathy and understanding towards patients
Salary Range: £19,000 - £24,000 per annum (dependent on location)
